This ministry requires a background check as we desire to create a safe enviroment for all of our children on a weekly basis. We have many places for people to serve including:
Downtown Café – Ages 0-2 Years (Weekly rotation)
Nursery Workers – Whether you are in our baby room rocking newborns to sleep our in our Toddler Room building with blocks, you are the first person that begins teaching our Journeytown little ones that God loves them.
Midtown Clubhouse – Ages 3 Years – Kindergarten (Monthly Rotation)
Uptown Theater – 1st Grade – 5th Grade (Monthly Rotation)
-Small Group Leaders – Lead activities, crafts, games and reinforcing what children learn in Large Group.
-Small Group Assistants – Assist the teachers in crafts, games, and aiding leaders.
-Check-In Team – Arrive 30 minutes prior to services and greet children and their parents and assist in checking in each child to their classroom.
-Media Tech- You make Large Group possible. Everything from the Background Music, to the Worship Experience to playing the weekly Video…you make Large Group Fun and Innovative!
-Host / Storyteller – Each week we dramatize our Bible Stories! You must be silly, creative and able to memorize the stories each week! The host also greets everyone and loves to play silly games at the beginning of each Large Group. You are the face of Journeytown!!!
-Worship Leader – Learn and songs and dances but also teach them to our Worship Teams.
-Worship Team – (Mainly consist or our faithful teenagers) – Greet kids at Check-In, leads kids in energetic Worship, pass out snacks to Midtown Clubhouse Classes, assist small groups, and greet kids as they leave Journeytown with high fives. Our teenagers play such an important role in being Godly examples and serving in Journeytown. Must be at least 13 years old to serve in this ministry.
