Welcome to the Journey Church Student Ministry webpage! As you learn a little about our ministry, I hope you will take a moment to pray for students and young people in your life, in this ministry, and around the world. Apart from the power of God we can do nothing of eternal importance.
Here at Journey Church, our student ministry is based on the Great Commission. That is, we go and reach students with truth and power of the gospel. Then, we pour into them such that they may become mature believers in Christ. We truly believe that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ, and it is our desire to go under that authority to preach the truth of the gospel and make disciples of all nations, beginning here in Tifton (Matt 28:18-20). It is with assurance and confidence in the power of Jesus Christ that we pursue this end.
We engage students with a weekly worship service every Wednesday night at 6:00 pm. We meet upstairs which can be reached by the stairway immediately on the right upon entering Journey Church. A typical Wednesday night consists of a time of small group discussion/Bible study followed by corporate worship which we share with the college students. After worship, students will return upstairs for a corporate message out of the word of God. The evening generally concludes by 8:00 pm.
