Journey Church desires to see the lost, the hurting, and the disconnected come together to find hope, purpose, and uncover the Journey God has for them. Journey Church is a church with a casual and contemporary environment, where people engage in authentic worship, are challenged with relevant sermons, and equipped to transform their community. Journey Church has a heart to see the lost become Christ followers and exemplify Christ in their words, their actions, and their life. In the life of Journey Church, every person is encouraged to not only have a relationship with Christ but to embrace the journey God has for them and to fulfill His purpose for their life.

Brief History of Journey Church
Journey Church held their first service on January 3rd, 2010. We had made preparations for 100 worshippers and 183 were in attendance at the very first worship service. We have now been in existence since January 3,2011 we currently average between 400 and 500 in attendance in two Sunday morning worship services. Journey Church is an intentional church plant, meaning that Journey Church was intentionally started from scratch, not as the result of a church “split” or as a splinter group from some other church. Lead Pastor Benji Rowland and his family came to Tifton, Ga as a result of God placing the vision in their hearts to start a church in Tifton. This was a tremendous step of faith in that the Rowland family did not know one person from Tifton, Ga at that time. As a result of Journey Church being planted in Tifton, we have seen lives changed, marriages rescued, relationships restored, and many other miraculous things that only God could do.
